Project description

Our client is advancing regulated, enterprise-grade distributed ledger solutions to support digital asset usecases, including custody, tokenization (fungible, nonfungible, and hybrid), and stablecoin integrations across bank-grade environments. The program spans public and private DLT (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, Corda), enterprise security and privacy controls, and cloudnative delivery (Azure/AWS/GCP). The DLT SME will help shape architecture, standards, and delivery of smart contracts, custody patterns (MPC/HSM, wallet policy engines), and observability within a highly regulated context.

Responsibilities

- Architecture Design: Define DLT solution architectures across public/private chains (Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, Corda) and align them with regulatory and enterprise standards.
- Model custody architectures using MPC/HSM, wallet policy engines, and secure enclave patterns.
- Smart Contract Engineering: Lead Solidity development, reviews, secure coding practices, and on-chain/off-chain integration patterns.
- Establish CI/CD for smart contracts, including test nets, audits, and controlled releases.
- Tokenization Integrations: Design token models (fungible/NFT/hybrid), lifecycle management, and stablecoin integration patterns.
- Define interoperability, bridging, and oracle strategies with appropriate risk controls.
- Security Privacy: Implement security fundamentals: key management, hardware enclaves/HSM, and secure enclave usage.
- Apply data privacy techniques (selective disclosure, ZK concepts)

to meet compliance objectives.
- CloudNative Delivery: Drive cloud-native implementation on Azure/AWS/GCP with Kubernetes, containers, Terraform, and secrets management.
- Set up observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana) and operational SLIs/SLOs for DLT components.
- Governance Standards: Define standards, reference implementations, and best practices for DLT platforms in regulated environments.
- Partner with Risk, Security, Compliance, and Audit to embed controls and evidence paths.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Solution Architects, PMs, and business owners; present designs and trade-offs to senior leadership.
- Support vendor selection, due diligence, and technical evaluations.

Skills

Must have

- 15+ years in software/technology roles with 4-6+ years building blockchain solutions in regulated contexts (banks, FMIs, fintech).
- Proven expertise across Public/Private DLT (Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, Corda) and related standards.
- Solidity proficiency with demonstrable smartcontract build and delivery.
- Hands-on knowledge of custody architectures: MPC/HSM, wallet policy engines.
- Experience in asset tokenization and stablecoin integrations.
- Robust cloud-native engineering: Azure/AWS/GCP, containers/Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, secrets management, observability (Prometheus/Grafana).
- Solid grasp of security fundamentals (key mgmt.., enclave/HSM concepts, secure enclaves) and data privacy patterns (selective disclosure, ZK concepts).

Nice to have

- N/A
