Role Overview:
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our salem team, with a strong focus on residential projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about space planning, material selection, and translating client requirements into functional, aesthetically refined designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and 3D visualizations for residential projects
- Create detailed working drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD
- Build accurate 3D models and walkthroughs using SketchUp
- Coordinate with site engineers and production teams to ensure design feasibility and accurate execution
- Prepare material, finish,
and furniture specifications in line with budget and client preferences
- Stay updated on residential design trends, materials, and industry standards
- Present design concepts and revisions to clients in a clear, professional manner
- Conduct site visits as needed to ensure design intent is maintained during execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD is mandatory
- Sound understanding of interior design industry standards, codes, and best practices
- Strong portfolio demonstrating residential design work
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of rendering software (V-Ray, Enscape, or similar) is a plus
