Job Description

The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of marine construction projects, ensuring technical excellence, financial control, and client satisfaction. The role involves supporting the Resident Engineer/Team Leader in resolving project challenges, providing leadership to the construction team, and ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing marine construction projects, particularly jetties, and possess a deep understanding of construction methodologies, planning, and quality assurance.

- Assisting and supporting Resident Engineer/Team Leader in resolving project issues.
- Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
- Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.




- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- May have budget responsibilities.
- Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
- Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
- Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individuals direction on a day-to-day
- Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations. Qualifications

- Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience managing marine construction projects, with a strong preference for experience in jetty construction.
