We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with the ability to manage financial operations and ensure accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of journal entries in to accounting softwares.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit reports.
- Prepare and file statutory reports and tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Support the finance team with special projects, financial analysis, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and related compliance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; BCOM, MCOM or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 years in a senior accounting role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements like GST, PT etc.
- Proficiency in accounting software Like Tally or Zoho books and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
