In this role, you will:

- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models (including Large Language Models) and statistical algorithms, processing massive datasets to build scalable prototypes.
- Explore new content opportunities in text and image domains to create personalized traveler experiences with high business impact.
- Design and run experiments (A/B testing, multi-variate, factorial design, stratified sampling) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and recent initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Machine Learning Science, Marketing, and Engineering, and present findings to executives and stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the success of Expedias ML community by mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative culture, and sharing best practices with other ML teams.

Experience and Qualifications:





- Master s Degree or PhD preferred in a related field, or equivalent related professional experience
- Proficient in one or more data science programming languages (Python, Java, R).
- Proven experience applying NLP techniques and LLMs in production to solve business problems and generate significant value.
- Strong expertise in ML techniques such as Bayesian Methods, Clustering, Decision Trees, Latent Dirichlet Allocation, NER, Random Forests, and more.
- Accustomed to collaborative, fun work environments.
