Job Title: Microservice Operations Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microservices Operations Analyst to support, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications running on Azure. This role focuses on incident resolution, observability, and operational stability for distributed microservices architectures, ensuring high availability, performance, and minimal disruption to business-critical systems. This role has a strong focus on the SAP Custom ecosystem , which is composed of Node.js microservices and robust architecture on Azure .

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and support microservices-based applications across Azure environments (AKS, APIM, Service Bus, Event Hub, etc.).
- Lead and support L2 incident and service requests , including critical incidents/war rooms, ensuring quick troubleshooting, rapid resolution, and escalation to L3 when required.
- Perform initial root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings, preventive actions, and resolution steps.
- Utilize Datadog to analyze logs, metrics, code logic and distributed traces to detect anomalies and performance bottlenecks and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with Dev/SRE teams for bug fixes, deployments, and improvements.
- Suggest continuous improvement in monitoring, alerting, automation, and operational processes.
- Manage tickets using ITSM tools (ServiceNow/JIRA) in line with SLAs .
- Proactively check Monitoring incidents and contribute to performance optimization for microservices workloads.
- Adaptable to On-Call shifts and schedules as needed.
- Documentation of War Rooms and critical issues and handovers to next shift.

Required Skills Experience

- 3 8 years of experience in production support / operations of microservices architectures .
- Solid Hands-on experience with Azure services :




- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Azure Service Bus / Event Hub
- Azure DevOps (ADO) / CI-CD pipelines

- Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
- Solid troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and cloud environments .
- Knowledge of microservices patterns (API Gateway, service discovery, fault tolerance, circuit breakers).
- Experience of handling critical incidents and on-call support .
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Fluent in English for communicating with Global teams during War Rooms.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Node.js-based services or API frameworks .
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines .
- Exposure to security and compliance standards in cloud environments.
- Azure or cloud certifications (preferred).
