Cloud Compute Engineer

As a Linux Engineer, youll play an integral role in the development and implementation of solution designs involving Linux technologies. You will partner with internal technology groups and project management teams to ensure our solutions align with company standards, project timelines, and comply with company security requirements. This position will lead from the front as a lead engineer and help drive all technical aspects of our project initiatives.

We need someone who can:

- Partner with application teams to onboard and support PaaS-based solutions
- Participate in project teams to implement infrastructure solutions, including builds, enhancements, and migrations
- Document technical solutions for delivery and support teams
- Deploy and support Azure services including:
- App Services, Azure Functions
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Container Apps
- API Management, Azure Storage
- Configure Application Gateway for application access
- Apply cloud security controls including Managed Identity, RBAC, and private access patterns




- Integrate Azure Key Vault for secure management of secrets and certificates
- Monitor platform health using tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure and platform issues
- Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and reliable
- Develop scripts and automation for deployment and operational tasks
- Support Infrastructure-as-Code and standardized deployment practices
- Experience with Azure cloud services (IaaS and PaaS)
- Hands-on experience with Windows-based compute environments
- Familiarity with cloud application hosting services (App Services, AKS, Functions)
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell or equivalent)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well in a collaborative team environment
- Expected to provide off-hours support and support in shift rotation basis

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Cloud Certifications are a plus
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment pipelines
- Experience supporting hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts
