Greece and Portugal VOIS BeUnrivalled CreateTheFuture About this Role We are seeking a Big Data Engineer to design build and manage big data ingestion and processing applications on Google Cloud The ideal candidate will have experience with CI CD toolkits such as Jenkins Git Jira and Confluence and a strong understanding of Google Cloud concepts and environments What you will do Design build and manage big data ingestion and processing applications on Google Cloud using Big Query Dataflow Composer Cloud Storage and Dataproc Perform performance tuning and analysis of Spark Apache Beam Dataflow or similar distributed computing tools and applications on Google Cloud Manage the development life-cycle for agile software development projects Convert a proof of concept into an industrialisation for Machine Learning Models MLOps Provide solutions to complex problems Deliver customer-oriented solutions in a timely collaborative manner Proactively think plan and understand dependencies Develop and implement robust solutions in test and production environments Who you are Graduate Postgraduate in preferably technical streams Engineering Certified Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer desired Excellent communication skills business and technical Proficient in written and verbal English Ability to respond quickly to issues and risks Ability to highlight possible issues proactively Oriented towards process improvements Problem solver and team player Solid ability to understand complex system landscape configuration considering the E2E view Ability to take ownership and
