Purpose/Objective The primary objective of this role is to support the implementation of digitalization and automation initiatives for electrical systems and critical plant assets across the Copper Manufacturing Complex by coordinating project execution, developing performance dashboards, enabling condition monitoring solutions, and facilitating data-driven reliability and maintenance improvements.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Digital & Automation Projects - Support implementation of digital and automation projects for electrical and utility systems.

- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, OEMs, and system integrators during project execution and commissioning.
- Monitor project progress, deliverables, and issue resolution. Electrical Asset Monitoring - Support deployment and utilization of online monitoring systems for transformers, motors, switchgears, VFDs, and substations.

- Track equipment health and performance trends through available digital platforms. Data Analytics & Reporting - Develop and maintain dashboards for electrical reliability, energy management, and asset performance.

- Generate periodic reports on equipment availability, downtime, energy consumption, and maintenance effectiveness.
- Assist in analyzing operational data to identify improvement opportunities.



Reliability Improvement - Support predictive and condition-based maintenance initiatives.

- Participate in root cause analysis (RCFA) and improvement projects related to electrical equipment failures.
- Track implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions. System Integration & Automation - Support integration of SCADA, PMS, DCS, historian, and other plant digital systems.

- Assist in testing, validation, and user training for recent digital solutions. Governance & Compliance - Maintain digital records, project documentation, and performance KPIs.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, cybersecurity, and plant operational standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: Engineering Graduate, Master/PG in Infrastructure/Digital would be preferred Work Experience (Range of years): 0--3 years of experience Automation, or Digital Solutions in Metals, Smelter, Refinery, Mining, Chemical, Petrochemical, or Process Industries.
