About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for oversees the cost estimation and analysis for projects or products. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed cost breakdowns, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The role ensures accuracy in costing, supports pricing decisions, and helps optimize profitability while adhering to financial targets and standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, products, or services.
- Analyze cost data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for savings.
- Develop and maintain cost models to support pricing and budgeting decisions.
- Monitor actual costs against budget and provide variance analysis.




- Collaborate with finance, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate costings.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts related to costs.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Review and analyze supplier quotations to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
- Recommend cost-control strategies to improve overall profitability and efficiency.
- Support audits and cost reviews to ensure accuracy and transparency in costing processes.

Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CIMA, or CPA) can be an advantage.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or budgeting.
- Skills:
- Advanced financial analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Cost estimation expertise.
- Proficient in budgeting.
