AGM Quality Control (Ferro Alloys Unit)

Position: AGM – Quality Control

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Industry: Integrated Steel / Ferro Alloys

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Quality Control function for the Ferro Alloys Unit.
- Ensure quality of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per customer specifications.
- Monitor and control product chemistry for Silico Manganese, Ferro Manganese, and Ferro Silicon.
- Manage chemical laboratory operations, testing, calibration, and quality documentation.
- Drive process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, and metal recovery.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions for quality deviations.
- Handle customer complaints, quality audits, and compliance with ISO/QMS standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, E&I;, and Commercial teams for process optimization.
- Lead, mentor,



and develop the Quality Control team while ensuring adherence to safety and quality systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering (M.Tech preferred).
- Experience: 15–20 years in Ferro Alloys/Integrated Steel Plants with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Solid knowledge of Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) operations, process metallurgy, laboratory practices, quality systems, and analytical instruments (OES/XRF).
