Job Title: Assistant / Deputy Production Manager

Reports to: Factory Manager

Location: Ranipet, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Control:

- Develop and implement production plans, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting customer requirements.
- Monitor production progress, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and issues.

2. Quality and Efficiency:

- Ensure high-quality production, implementing quality control measures and monitoring defect rates.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.

3. Team Leadership:

- Lead and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, trainning, and feedback.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employee engagement and participation.

4. Process Improvement:

- Identify and implement process improvements, using lean manufacturing principles and other tools.




- Communicate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement.

5. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure a safe working workplace, complying with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and report on safety performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production engineering OR Special course on Operations Management.
- Experience: 10-12 years of experience in production management, preferably in the automotive OR HVAC sector.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
