Role Description The Assistant Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ballia. This position involves driving sales and business growth for HDFC Life’s insurance products by engaging with customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable solutions. The role includes managing and supporting Financial Consultants or channel partners, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company processes and regulatory guidelines.

Daily responsibilities also involve generating leads, conducting meetings and presentations,



maintaining accurate documentation, and providing regular reports to senior management.

The Assistant Business

Manager is expected to build strong relationships in the local market, deliver high-quality customer service, and contribute to branch-level targets and overall business objectives.

Qualifications Strong sales, business development, and customer relationship management capabilities, with the ability to achieve and exceed targets.

Knowledge of insurance or financial services products, including protection, savings, investment, and retirement solutions, or willingness to learn quickly.

Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Basic proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for reporting, documentation, and data tracking.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or financial planning are an advantage.

Proven ability to work in a structured, process-driven workplace and comply with regulatory and organizational standards.

Local market awareness and readiness to travel within Ballia and nearby areas for business development activities.

Prior experience in sales, banking, insurance, or financial consulting is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
