Assistant Business Manager (New Construction – Plumbing Projects)

Location: Delhi NCR / Kolkata

About the Role:

We are looking for an Assistant Business Manager to lead our Project-based New Construction Plumbing business across the entire project lifecycle — from building the project pipeline to tendering, bidding, and execution — by offering specialized technical and commercial support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales and business development of plumbing products in the projects segment
- Identify and source potential projects through major suppliers and pipe dealers in the region
- Gather referrals of new site leads from existing converted plumbing & MEP contractors
- Track project progress during tendering and drive specification of products into BOQ/Make lists
- Deliver technical and specification assistance throughout the project lifecycle to MEP consultants and builders
- Drive application and pressure-test demos to build brand credibility with MEP consultants & builders
- Finalize commercials — pricing, payment terms,



and delivery timelines with site stakeholders
- Coordinate timely material supply and serviceability at sites
- Strengthen relationships with existing contractors/consultants through user meets and engagement activities
- Participate in plumbing seminars and technical events to increase brand presence
- Gather market/product insights to identify gaps and support new product launches

Must-Have Skills
- Project sales / institutional sales experience in plumbing, pipes & fittings, sanitaryware, or building materials
- Specification selling experience — getting products approved into BOQ/Make lists
- Prior experience engaging with MEP consultants, architects, contractors, or builders
- Strong commercial negotiation skills (pricing, payment terms, delivery)

Valuable-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to waterproofing or construction chemicals industry
- Experience running technical product demos/pressure tests on-site
