About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack AI Developer who also possesses a strong passion for education and mentorship. This is a unique, dynamic role where you will divide your time between building production-grade software and shaping the next generation of engineers. Out of a standard 48-hour work week, 36 hours will be dedicated to core software development, where you will build intelligent, AI-first applications.

The remaining 12 hours will be spent in the classroom, instructing students in our offline training facility.

What You'll Do

As an Instructor (12 hrs/week):

- Lead our 4-month (16-week) course titled Full-Stack AI Engineering – Building a Smart Image Gallery.
- Guide students who have no prior programming experience through the process of building an AI-powered smart image gallery from scratch.
- Deliver hands-on lessons covering Python fundamentals, face detection, semantic embeddings, vector databases, and full-stack integration.
- Mentor students through four major milestone projects: an auto-tagging face tool, a semantic image ranker, a search-optimized backend module, and a final polished React/FastAPI application.

As a Developer (36 hrs/week):
- Act as a core developer for our internal software systems, prioritizing productive and scalable system architecture.
- Architect and implement decoupled RESTful APIs using FastAPI, and connect them to interactive frontends using React and Vite.




- Utilize open-source Vision-Language models like CLIP (via Hugging Face) to generate multimodal vectors and extract semantic meaning from images. Manage and scale massive amounts of vector data by designing data pipelines and upserting them into Qdrant databases for rapid, hybrid search capabilities.
- Write robust Python scripts and utilize libraries like OpenCV for complex computer vision tasks, including dynamic bounding boxes and facial recognition.

The Tech Stack You'll Master & Teach
- Languages & Core Frameworks: Python, React (Vite), and FastAPI.
- AI & Computer Vision: OpenCV, Hugging Face (CLIP), Haar Cascades, and 128-dimensional facial encodings.
- Databases: Qdrant (Vector Database) and local instance management (e.g., Docker).
- Technical Concepts: The mathematics of meaning (embeddings), Cosine Similarity vs. Euclidean Distance, metadata payloads, and managing AI latency.

Who You Are
- You are an experienced Full-Stack Developer or AI Engineer with a strong portfolio showcasing modern web architecture and API design.
- You have a deep, practical understanding of our required tech stack and actively follow the latest trends in AI integration.
- You possess excellent communication skills and have a genuine enthusiasm for breaking down complex technical jargon into highly accessible concepts for beginners.
- Preferred: Previous experience in technical training, mentoring junior developers, or leading offline coding boot camps.
