Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, tax, and accounting assignments under the guidance of senior team members in a full-time capacity. This on-site role is based in Ernakulam and includes assisting in audit and assurance services, preparing audit and tax working papers, and documenting findings. Daily responsibilities include compiling and analyzing financial data, supporting tax computation and return preparation, and assisting with accounting and compliance tasks.

The role also involves maintaining proper documentation, coordinating with clients for information,



and adhering to professional and ethical standards set by the firm and regulatory bodies.

The Articled

Assistant will be expected to actively participate in learning initiatives and apply knowledge gained from professional studies to client engagements.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and taxation basics, with the ability to apply them in practical assignments.

Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with accounting or audit software; willingness to learn new digital tools.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approach to documentation and reporting.

Enrollment in Chartered Accountancy program (as per ICAI requirements) and eligibility to undertake articleship training.

High level of integrity, commitment to skilled ethics, and readiness to work in a disciplined, learning-oriented environment.

Ability to work full-time on-site in Ernakulam, manage deadlines, and contribute positively to team-based assignments.
