Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive Chennai to drive business development across the Chennai market by promoting and selling Augmont's Gold Coins, Gold Bars, and Bullion products.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the local jewellery and bullion market, existing relationships with retail jewellers, and the ability to develop new dealer networks while growing business from existing customers. This is a field-based role involving daily market visits and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales:

Promote and sell Augmont Gold Coins, Gold Bars, and Bullion products to retail jewellers across Chennai.

Generate new business by identifying and onboarding new jewellery retailers and dealers.

Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Conduct regular market visits to develop new business opportunities.

Increase sales and revenue from both recent and existing customers.

Identify potential markets and business opportunities within Chennai and nearby regions.

Dealer & Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail jewellers, bullion dealers, wholesalers, and trade partners.

Expand Augmont's dealer and distribution network across Chennai.

Regularly meet existing dealers to increase business volumes and strengthen long-term relationships.

Resolve customer queries and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

Market Development





Track local market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, and customer requirements.

Gather market intelligence and provide regular feedback to the reporting manager.

Represent Augmont during jewellery exhibitions, trade events, dealer meets, and promotional activities whenever required.

What We're Looking For A highly energetic and result-oriented sales professional with experience in the bullion, gold coins, precious metals, or jewellery industry. The ideal candidate should possess a strong network with retail jewellers across Chennai, have excellent business development skills, and be passionate about expanding dealer networks and driving consistent sales growth through regular market visits.

This is a field-sales role, where the candidate will work remotely from the market, meeting jewellers daily to generate new business,



strengthen existing relationships, and increase sales of Augmont's Gold Coins, Gold Bars, and Bullion products. The candidate will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and will not be required to visit the office on a daily basis.
