Main responsibilities

Identify customer requirements and offer solutions accordingly.

Develop lasting customer relationships to identify business trends in and beyond the customer scope or product/solutions offered.

Negotiate and close deals or contracts with customers & provide operational guidance to ensure business maintenance.

Provide troubleshooting services as & when needed/demanded by the customer.

Partner with the technical team to conduct full-fledged plant-scale trials.

Identify and attract new customers, pursue new applications and interact with the internal team to provide the right products and services.

Prepare and achieve sales budget.

Provide accurate sales forecasts for efficient planning of products and services.

Identify, develop and win current accounts & continuously update the sales funnel.

Continuously gather market intelligence, update customer data and competitor data, and identify threats and opportunities.

Management of recoverable in a timely manner. Requirement:

B.Tech / M.Sc. (Chemistry / Biology)



with more than 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in Distillery process aids or allied fields like Sugar / Water treatment. A management degree like MBA / PGDM would be an added advantage. The candidate should be strong in Business Development and should understand market trends.

The candidate should be able to influence customers and relevant stakeholders.

Should be skilled in communication and presentation skills.

MS proficiency is a must.

Is prepared to work flexibly, without day-to-day supervision and willing to travel up to 60% of your time in the assigned region.

Should be fluent in English, Hindi and other local languages.
