We are looking for a Sheet Metal Design & FEA Engineer with strong expertise in product design, engineering analysis, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sheet metal design, finite element analysis (FEA), and product development using industry-leading CAD and simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Sheet Metal Design

- Design and develop complex sheet metal components and assemblies.
- Create 3D models, flat patterns, manufacturing drawings, and detailed engineering documentation.
- Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and cost optimization principles.
- Design welded, bolted, and riveted assemblies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant sheet metal standards and best practices.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate product designs.
- Conduct:
- Static Analysis
- Energetic Analysis
- Buckling Analysis
- Fatigue Analysis
- Modal Analysis
- Contact Analysis
- Structure Analysis

- Evaluate design performance based on stress, deflection, factor of safety, vibration, fatigue, and buckling criteria.




- Optimize designs based on analysis results and engineering recommendations.

Manufacturing & Product Support

- Collaborate with production teams and fabrication vendors.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and product validation activities.
- Resolve manufacturing and assembly-related issues.
- Drive continuous improvements in performance, reliability, and cost reduction.

Documentation

- Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Maintain design revisions and engineering records.
