Role & responsibilities

- Lead and manage all finishing activities from execution through final handover, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
- Supervise architectural finishing works including flooring, stone cladding, tiling, painting, waterproofing, gypsum partitions, false ceilings, faade interfaces, glazing, metal works, joinery, and decorative finishes.
- Plan and coordinate finishing activities across multiple project areas to ensure timely completion and efficient resource utilization.
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and construction details to ensure smooth execution and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure, Landscape, and Interior Fit-Out teams to ensure seamless execution and closure of interface issues.
- Manage finishing works associated with buildings, public spaces, utility facilities, external developments, landscape features, hardscape areas, pathways, plazas, and associated infrastructure.
- Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to approved quality standards, workmanship requirements, and project specifications.
- Establish and implement quality control procedures, inspection checklists, benchmark installations, and finishing standards across all work packages.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, non-conformities, and workmanship issues, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Verify material quality and ensure all finishing materials are installed in accordance with approved specifications, samples,



and manufacturer recommendations.
- Lead mock-up reviews and ensure consistency of finishes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site execution teams to achieve productivity, quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
- Prepare detailed execution plans, look-ahead schedules, manpower deployment plans, and progress monitoring reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure timely availability of materials, resources, equipment, and subcontractor support.
- Monitor project progress against planned milestones and implement corrective measures to mitigate delays and execution risks.
- Ensure compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and promote protected working practices on site.
- Lead snagging, de-snagging, punch-point closure, and pre-handover inspections with consultants, project management teams, and client representatives.
- Ensure timely closure of observations, non-conformance reports (NCRs), quality issues, and client comments.
- Support testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and project handover activities.
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports, progress reports, inspection records, RFIs, material approvals, NCR logs, and as-built documentation.
- Participate in client meetings, consultant reviews, technical discussions, and project coordination meetings, providing progress updates and technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality enhancement, productivity optimization, cost control, and timely project delivery.
