Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented RCA & Quality Specialist to lead end-to-end failure investigations across our battery and swapping ecosystem. This role will focus on identifying root causes of failures, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and strengthening system-wide quality to ensure reliability, safety, and

scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Failure Investigation & Traceability

- Lead traceability of suspected defective components across production, warehouse, and field locations
- Identify impacted batches using serial numbers, lot codes, and internal systems
- Execute containment actions such as quarantine, sorting, rework, and recall coordination
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and quality teams to prevent issue escalation
- Maintain audit-ready traceability records

2. Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

- Conduct structured RCA using methodologies like 8D, 5-Why, FTA, and DOE
- Investigate mechanical, electrical, electronic, and process-related failures
- Validate root causes using data, field insights, and physical evidence
- Prepare detailed investigation reports and present findings to stakeholders

3. Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)





- Define and implement corrective and preventive actions based on RCA outcomes
- Drive improvements across design, processes, suppliers, and quality controls
- Update SOPs, control plans, and inspection standards
- Ensure cross-functional closure of action items

4. Effectiveness Validation

- Design and execute validation plans to assess CAPA effectiveness
- Monitor post-implementation performance metrics
- Conduct audits and process verification checks
- Track reduction in repeat failures and escalate gaps

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

- Analyze defect trends and failure patterns using data-driven approaches
- Build dashboards and maintain investigation trackers
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership
- Support audits, customer reviews, and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial or related field)
- 6–8 years of experience in manufacturing quality, automotive, EV, battery, or electronics industry
- Strong understanding of quality tools and structured problem-solving methodologies
