Data Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the BFSI domain and a robust foundation in data analytics, data engineering, visualization, and automation. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights, building scalable dashboards, automating reporting workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility while contributing to continuous process improvements through automation and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools.
- Write optimized and complex SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from relational databases and data warehouses.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts for reporting, reconciliation, data processing, and workflow optimization.
- Build and maintain automated ETL pipelines and scheduled data processing jobs.
- Work with AWS Redshift for data warehousing, query optimization, and large-scale data analysis.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation to ensure high-quality and reliable datasets.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable business insights.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with business, product, operations,
and technology teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Track project progress, manage analytics tasks, and maintain documentation using JIRA and Confluence.
- Ensure timely delivery of dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions while adhering to quality standards.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Analytics Engineer.
- Hands-on experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
