Senior Supply Chain Manager (Head position)

Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Senior Manager Supply Chain Management to manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. The role will involve inventory planning, procurement coordination, logistics management, warehouse coordination, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth and cost-effective supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in supply planning, inventory control, dispatch coordination, vendor management, and MIS reporting, preferably within the Pharma, Healthcare, Wellness, or Medical Devices industry.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including planning, inventory control, logistics coordination, and dispatch management.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, production, sales, and other internal teams to ensure timely availability and movement of materials/products.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, replenishment planning, and stock ageing to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials/finished goods as per business requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters, warehouse partners, and third-party logistics providers for smooth movement of goods.
- Track and maintain key supply chain metrics such as inventory levels, fill rate, dispatch TAT, stock availability, and service levels.
- Review slow-moving, non-moving, and near-expiry inventory and take corrective action in coordination with relevant teams.
- Maintain and update supply chain MIS, reports, trackers,



and dashboards for management review.
- Ensure adherence to supply chain processes, SOPs, and documentation standards.
- Support demand planning and forecasting activities in coordination with business/operations teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve supply, delivery, or inventory-related issues on priority.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency within the supply chain function.
- Ensure compliance with applicable documentation, audit, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain operations.

Key Skills Required

- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Operations
- Experience in demand planning, stock planning, replenishment, and dispatch coordination
- Knowledge of vendor management and logistics coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command over Excel / MIS reporting / ERP systems
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and functions
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage operational priorities

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / Inventory / Operations
- Experience in Pharma / Healthcare / Wellness / Medical Devices industry is preferred
- Masters degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Pharmacy, Commerce, or related field
- MBA / PG in Supply Chain / Operations would be an added advantage
- Hands-on experience with ERP / SAP / supply chain reporting tools preferred
