Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Developer with strong expertise in Teamcenter customization and Java-based development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and customizing Teamcenter solutions using SOA and Java technologies. The role requires working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to design, develop, and implement Teamcenter enhancements and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and enhance Teamcenter applications based on business requirements.
- Design and implement Teamcenter customizations using SOA, Java, and Teamcenter APIs.
- Develop and maintain Teamcenter workflows, BMIDE configurations, handlers, exits, and custom utilities.
- Build and support integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise applications.
- Develop and consume Teamcenter SOA services.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Prepare technical design documents and maintain development documentation.
- Participate in defect resolution, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Teamcenter development and customization.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Extensive experience with Teamcenter SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) development.
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter customization using:
- BMIDE
- ITK
- Workflow customization
- Handlers and Rule Handlers
- Custom exits
- Preferences and Access Manager
- Good understanding of Teamcenter data model and architecture.
- Experience in debugging, deployment, and code migration.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Active Workspace customization is an added advantage.
- Experience working with SQL databases and version control systems.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/MTech in Computer Science or from any other department of Engineering only.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Exposure to Teamcenter integrations with CAD or ERP systems is a plus.
