We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Application Support Engineer with hands-on L2 support experienced specifically in the Banking domain. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health of critical banking applications, resolving technical issues, and ensuring seamless user experiences for our business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver L2 application support for core banking systems and associated applications.
· Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, and drive resolution in coordination with internal teams.
· Manage and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Infra) to implement long-term fixes and enhancements.
· Participate in release management and deployment support.
· Document incident root causes and maintain support SOPs.
Must-Have Skills:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Application Support (L2)
· Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to extract and interpret data.
· Familiarity with incident tracking tools like Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
· Understanding of banking operations, compliance, and data integrity.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to analyze logs and trace issues effectively.
Valuable-to-Have:
· Exposure to GRC frameworks or tools.
· Experience in Banking or Finance Domain
