About The Role The Application Specialist at BPL Medical Technologies plays a vital role in supporting the clinical integration and optimal utilization of critical care products. This role involves conducting product demonstrations, providing comprehensive user training, and offering post-installation technical and clinical support to healthcare professionals.
The Application
Specialist works closely with the sales team, hospital staff, and biomedical engineers to ensure seamless product deployment, enhance user experience, and drive customer satisfaction. Based in Hyderabad, this position requires a proactive individual with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. The role offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of medical technology, contribute to improved patient outcomes, and develop skilled expertise in critical care devices.
Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or Life Sciences is required.
Candidates with clinical application certifications will have an added advantage. The ideal candidate should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in clinical applications, product training, or technical support related to critical care medical devices.
Freshers with strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills will also be considered, provided they demonstrate a passion for healthcare technology and customer service.
Responsibilities Conduct product demonstrations and clinical presentations for critical care devices such as multiparameter patient monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, ECG machines, HFNC, and central monitoring systems.
Provide application support during product evaluations, installations, and commissioning processes to ensure smooth deployment and user acceptance.
Train healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, biomedical engineers, and end users on the safe and effective operation of critical care products.
Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities by demonstrating product features and benefits, and support post-sales activities to meet business objectives.
Organize and participate in clinical workshops, continuing medical education (CME) sessions, seminars, and product launches to promote product awareness and clinical adoption.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with ICU physicians, anesthesiologists, intensivists, nurses, and hospital management to foster trust and collaboration.
Provide technical and clinical guidance to troubleshoot issues and optimize product usage for better patient care outcomes.
Ensure timely installation support and facilitate user acceptance testing at customer sites.
Gather customer feedback and communicate suggestions for product improvements to the product management team to enhance future offerings.
Coordinate with service engineers to resolve technical issues efficiently and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Stay informed on the latest advancements in critical care technology and monitor competitor products to maintain a competitive edge.
Prepare detailed reports on application activities, training sessions, customer visits, and feedback for internal records and continuous improvement.
Support distributors and channel partners with application training and product knowledge transfer to expand market reach.
Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across all activities.
