Role Description The Application Engineer role at Carbloy is a full-time, on-site position based in Sonipat.

The Application

Engineer will work closely with customers to understand machining requirements, recommend suitable CNC cutting tools, and provide technical support during implementation and operation. This role involves conducting tooling trials, optimizing machining parameters, troubleshooting performance issues, and collaborating with internal teams on product improvements.

Engineer will prepare technical documentation, application reports,



and training materials, while supporting sales and marketing teams with technical inputs and demonstrations at customer locations.

Qualifications

- Solid Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering knowledge relevant to CNC machining and industrial applications.
- Experience in Technical Support, including diagnosing tooling or process issues and providing practical solutions to customers.
- Background in Testing, including conducting trials, validating tool performance, and analyzing machining data.
- Exposure to Software Development or CNC programming concepts is an advantage for integrating tooling with machine controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with CNC machines, cutting tool technologies, and common machining processes (turning, milling, drilling, threading, and grooving).
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and to conduct customer training sessions.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and work collaboratively with sales, design, and manufacturing teams.
