Internship Details

Role: Application Developer Intern

Duration: 6 Months

Work Mode: Hybrid (Work From Home + On-Site)

Location: Singarayakonda, Andhra Pradesh

Internship Type: Full time

Monthly Stipend: ₹5,000

Certificate: Internship Completion Certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the internship.

Future Opportunity: Interns who demonstrate exceptional technical skills, ownership, and performance during the internship may be considered for a full-time position at MecSpot. Compensation (CTC) and employment terms will be discussed directly with selected candidates after successful completion of the internship.

Role Description

As an Application Developer Intern, you will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that power MecSpot's marketplace, logistics, inventory, and seller management platforms.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and senior developers to build scalable features, integrate APIs, optimize databases,



and deliver high-quality software. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing production-ready applications in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web and mobile application features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Design, manage, and optimize database structures and queries.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive user interfaces.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Document technical implementations and development processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Dart, or similar.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
- Understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and application integration.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Good analytical, debugging,



and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Flutter, React, React Native, Node.js, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Firebase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of e-commerce, logistics, or marketplace applications is an advantage.
- Personal projects, internships, or GitHub contributions are highly valued.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience and a strong project portfolio will also be considered.
