We require a suitable candidate that enjoys creating new development and has an eye for details. The Designer- Sports Apparel & Accessories will utilise his/her organisational skills to assist and support the Design team with daily administrative and design-related tasks. He/she will assist with the design development process which includes creatively finding solutions and different perspectives pertaining to design and new tenders, ultimately supporting the Design Head creative direction.
This is a permanent and full time role for a candidate who truly understands the market consumer and is passionate about Sportswear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing creative product designs, ensuring they adhere to SHREY'S seasonal development schedule.
- Keep creative assets like sketches, Illustrator drawings, specs, material summaries, colour guides, and boards current and organised, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Oversee product and technical advancements within product design.
- Lead the way in new product development, guiding the process from concept to sample approval.
- Conduct research on emerging market trends and collaborate with the presentation team to brainstorm fresh concepts.
- Update and manage the Product Development Calendar diligently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Knitwear, Product Design, or a related field.
- Robust communication and organisation skills.
- Must have a Sportswear work experience/ knitted apparels
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and follow through.
- A proactive learner who’s passionate about sportswear, branding, and innovation.
