We are looking for an experienced APAC API Platforms Engineering Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in software engineering and API platform development. The role is based in India and will require working with stakeholders across the APAC region.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of API platforms for the APAC region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy API solutions
- Manage and mentor a team of API developers
- Ensure high-quality code and documentation
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-9 years of experience in software engineering and API platform development
- Experience leading a team of developers
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or Kong
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with stakeholders across the APAC region
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
