They act as a vital link between patients and diagnostic specialists, ensuring patient comfort and maintaining clinical hygiene.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Patient Preparation: Preparing patients for various diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms (ECG), blood tests, and imaging procedures.

- Vital Sign Monitoring: Taking and recording patient vitals, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation (SpO₂).

- Sample Collection Assistance: Assisting with the collection of specimens, such as urine, blood, or sputum for laboratory analysis.

- Procedures and Injections: Administering injections, vaccinations, and medications as prescribed by doctors.

- Infection Control: Maintaining a clean and sanitized workplace, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to biosafety protocols.

- Patient Documentation:



Maintaining accurate and confidential records of patient data, history, and test results.

- Patient Education: Providing instructions regarding pre-test requirements (e.g., fasting) and post-test care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: A recognized certificate or diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM).

- Registration: Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.

- Experience: Previous experience (6 months to 2 years) in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred, though freshers are often considered.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with patients, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure.
