Job Purpose

- Implement bird and animal control measures and habitat management in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations at IGI Airport.
- Oversee policies, procedures, SOPs, and regulatory requirements, coordinating with Ground Handling Agents (GHAs), catering, fuelling, Baggage Management Equipment (BME), and Baggage Handling System (BHS) operations.
- Maintain continuous airport operations in adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators

Surveillance & Operational Safety

- Monitor RT communication between ATC and aircraft.
- Track physical aircraft movement, ensuring correct taxi route adherence.
- Maintain overall ramp operational safety.
- Identify and escalate temporary obstacles to Apron Control (AM).
- Participate in operational trials and site walks.
- Supervise hot works to ensure safe execution.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Accuracy in ATC communication monitoring
- Incident-free aircraft movement on airside

Inspection of Movement Areas

- Conduct inspections of runway, taxiways, perimeter, apron, and related areas as per Aerodrome Standards.
- Inspect Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) and report abnormalities.
- Review visual aids on apron regularly.
- Monitor areas post-maintenance, high-power engine run-ups, and obstruction lights.
- Identify and deploy RMS for FOD removal.
- Ensure vegetation growth compliance in Airside zones.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Regulatory-compliant inspections and records

Airside Enforcement & Compliance

- Monitor traffic violations, escalating non-compliance.
- Assist in fuel/oil spill management, ensuring safety.
- Supervise ongoing airside works, maintaining efficiency.

Facilitation in Airside Operations

- Oversee approved airside projects.
- Coordinate takeover/handover of manoeuvring areas during runway maintenance.
- Manage VVIP/VIP aircraft movements.
- Provide 'Follow Me' guidance for high-power engine run-ups.
- Oversee RMS operations in apron/manoeuvring zones.
- Assist in ambulance movements for emergencies.
- Ensure smooth repositioning of aircraft between stands.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Seamless execution of airside activities
- Zero delays in VVIP movements

Procedure Implementation & Regulatory Compliance

- Initiate safeguarding measures for Low Visibility Procedures (LVP).
- Enforce vehicular control measures during LVP operations.
- Train and supervise traffic marshals for LVP compliance.

- Adherence to LVP safeguarding protocols
- Effective traffic control enforcement

Project Initiatives & Process Improvements

- Lead Kaizen, BLIP, CIP, and 5S improvement projects.

Educational Qualifications

- Graduate with relevant exposure to Airside Operations / ATC

Relevant Experience

- Proficient in Aerodrome Design Operations & Aircraft Turnaround processes
- Proficiency in MS Office & Internet usage
- More than 7 years of experience in the aviation industry
- Holding an LMV driving license for over 3 years
