Automation Tester – Airline DCS / GDS Domain (Amadeus / Sabre) Location: Bangalore / Noida / Kolkata Experience: 7+ Years Airline Domain Experience: Minimum 3+ Years (Mandatory) Notice Period: Open to Any Notice Period Interview Mode: Virtual + Face-to-Face Work Model: Hybrid Job Summary We are looking for highly skilled Automation Test Engineers with strong experience in the Airline domain, specifically in DCS (Departure Control Systems), GDS (Global Distribution Systems), Amadeus, Sabre, or similar airline platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong automation testing expertise across Web and API applications along with a deep understanding of airline reservation, ticketing, check-in, and airport operations workflows.

Mandatory Requirements

Overall 5+ years of QA/Testing experience

Minimum 3 years of Airline domain experience

Hands-on experience working with one or more of the following:

Amadeus

Sabre

Galileo

Travelport

Departure Control Systems (DCS)

Global Distribution Systems (GDS)

Strong experience in

Web Automation Testing

API Automation Testing

End-to-end Test Automation Frameworks

Good understanding of airline business processes including:

Passenger Reservation

Ticketing

Check-in

Boarding

Flight Operations

Ancillary Services

Technical Skills Selenium UI, Web and mobile automation

API Automation using Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, or equivalent tools





Java / JavaScript / TypeScript

TestNG, JUnit, BDD Frameworks (Cucumber)

CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

Git Version Control

SQL and Database Validation

Defect Tracking using JIRA or similar tools Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API applications.

Validate airline business-critical workflows within DCS, GDS, Amadeus, and Sabre environments.

Build automated test suites for reservation, ticketing, check-in, boarding, and airport operations modules.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Execute regression, functional, integration, and API testing.

Analyze automation results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.

Drive automation best practices and improve test coverage.

Preferred Skills Exposure to airline airport operations and passenger service workflows.

Experience working directly with airline carriers or travel technology providers.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Understanding of cloud-based testing environments. Priority will be given to candidates with hands-on automation experience in Amadeus, Sabre, DCS, or GDS platforms and robust exposure to airline passenger servicing and airport operations.
