Role Description The AI Trainer role at Blackhat Junior International is an on-site position based in Mumbai. The AI Trainer will design and deliver engaging lessons that introduce children to AI concepts, responsible technology use, and cybersecurity basics in an age-appropriate manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning curricula, creating interactive learning materials, conducting classroom and lab sessions, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback.
The AI Trainer will collaborate with other educators and curriculum designers to refine teaching content, incorporate hands-on projects, and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment. The role also involves communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development and participating in workshops, events,
or demonstrations related to AI and digital literacy.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in artificial intelligence, machine learning basics, or data science, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply and clearly.
Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring children or young learners, preferably in STEM, coding, robotics, or technology-related subjects.
Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, digital safety, and ethical technology use, with a focus on child-friendly communication.
Skill in developing lesson plans, learning activities, and educational content that are interactive, project-based, and engaging.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information confidently and facilitate group discussions.
Solid classroom management and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusion, respect, and supportive learning practices.
Comfort with using educational software, online tools, and basic programming languages commonly used in K–12 tech education.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field; relevant certifications in AI, cybersecurity, or teaching are an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, follow institutional guidelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
