WCS you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud-based offerings targeting the small and medium sized Pitney Bowes customer base We are seeking a Mid-Level WebSphere Commerce Developer to join our team The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in developing and delivering high-quality scalable e-commerce applications using the IBM WebSphere Commerce platform You will use your expertise in building highly scalable cloud solutions in an agile setting to mentor and guide the rest of the team You are expected to be hands-on and up to date with the latest technology stack If this type of position motivates you tell us why you are the right person for this challenging role The Job Design and develop web based scalable extensible reliable and maintainable platform Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the IBM WebSphere Commerce platform Provides information on WCS specific processes and patterns to support the requirements gathering and architecture designing efforts of the e-commerce platform Proficiency in WebSphere Commerce Suite Version 7 or later including WCS customization data model and APIs Should have demonstrated hands-on skills and expertise in two or more of the subsystems in WCS Order Catalog Member Marketing Promotion Strong understanding of Java J2EE JSP HTML CSS and JavaScript Experience in e-commerce domain and concepts Familiarity with REST APIs and web services Experience with version control tool Git Experience in Agile methodologies Strong understanding of relational databases DB2 Oracle MySQL Familiarity with server-side rendering and deployment Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to represent abstract challenges in the form of system architecture design Work in an agile collaborative environment where there is collective ownership of the code Work in a continuous integration mode and always strive for continuous delivery Comfortable to support in rotations shifts Provide production support and weekend on call support Qualifications Skills required Minimum 5 to 8 years professional software development experience in developing large scale mission critical and high availability enterprise level web applications using WebSphere platform Should have experience as Java Full Stack Developer 5 years of experience implementing WebSphere Commerce and other WCM platforms in large scale environments Provides information on WCS specific processes and patterns to support the requirements gathering and architecture designing efforts of the e-commerce platform Proficiency in WebSphere Commerce Suite Version 7 or later including WCS customization data model and APIs Should have demonstrated hands-on skills and expertise in two or more of the subsystems in WCS Order Catalog Member Marketing Promotion Design develop and support WCS Integrations and applications Should have strong experience in core java Strong AWS experience and having exp of AWS migration is an advantage Should have experience in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and frameworks like Bootstrap Angular etc Should be Proficient with Web Services - SOAP REST Microservices Hands on experience in following J2EE Frameworks - Spring Core Spring Boot Spring Integrations Batch MVC Struts Hibernate etc Integration experience with Middleware Data Power MQ Web Services and Java SAP or other ERP CRM systems such as SFDC Experience with Servers -
