A Senior Accountant manages financial operations, maintains general ledgers, and ensures compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations. They oversee month-end close procedures, prepare financial statements, and support management with budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination. Key Responsibilities

- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconciliation & Analysis: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, resolve ledger discrepancies, and conduct variance analysis.
- Audit & Tax: Prepare documentation for external audits and assist with corporate tax returns and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior accounting staff, reviewing their daily transactional work.
- Process Improvement: Optimize accounting software and internal controls to streamline workflows and safeguard company assets.
