- Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Prepare and review financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Generate MIS reports and present financial data to management
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise billing, collections, and vendor payments
- Review and approve purchase invoices, expense claims, and vendor reconciliations
- Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all transactions
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Handle tax assessments and communicate with authorities as required
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor budget variances and provide performance insights
- Assist in cost control and financial efficiency initiatives
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and PT regulations
- Maintain employee reimbursement records and approvals
Team & Process Management
- Lead and guide the accounts team to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Implement internal controls and best accounting practices
- Collaborate with other departments for financial data and reporting
Key Skills
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management
