Accounts & Finance Intern – ERP & Process Improvement

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Accounts & Finance Intern to work closely with our accounts and management teams on strengthening our financial systems, ERP processes, and accounting controls.

This is a hands-on role where the intern will work with live financial data and business processes, with a particular focus on ERP implementation, data migration, reconciliation, and improving existing accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities • Work extensively on the company's ERP accounting and finance modules

• Review and correct data migration issues from legacy accounting systems

- Verify, reconcile, and correct opening balances of customers, suppliers, general ledgers, inventory, fixed assets, and other accounts
- Reconcile ERP balances with previous accounting records and supporting documentation
- Identify incorrect ledger mappings, duplicate records, and accounting inconsistencies
- Assist in bank, customer, vendor, inventory, and inter-company reconciliations
- Review the current Chart of Accounts and recommend improvements where required
- Help establish proper accounting workflows, approval processes, and documentation practices
- Identify gaps in existing finance and accounting procedures
- Recommend and help implement new processes, controls, and best practices

• Assist in creating SOPs for key accounting and finance activities

• Explore opportunities for automation of repetitive accounting and reporting tasks

• Support management with financial reports, MIS, and data analysis





Who Should Apply We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working with numbers, systems, and large amounts of financial data.

Preferred backgrounds include

- B.Com / M.Com
- CA Intermediate / CA aspirants
- CMA students or candidates
- MBA Finance
- Candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and an interest in ERP systems

Skills We Value • Strong understanding of accounting principles, ledgers, and financial statements

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to understand and work with ERP/accounting software
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance is an advantage
- Interest in improving and digitizing finance processes
