We are looking for a bright Accounts Executive in our team for supporting our E Commerce business. The brief JD encompasses the responsibilities of the role holder -

Role & responsibilities

- Knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes of e-commerce transactions related to Ecommerce
- Download, review, and process various reports including MTR, STR, Payment reports from Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce platforms.
- Import reports into Tally using the API integration software.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of imported accounting data. Reconcile sales as per reports with Tally records on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Account for sales, sales returns, customer refunds, marketplace fees, commissions, shipping charges, advertising charges, and other deductions.
- Sound knowledge of accounting entries and reconciliation of statutory deductions from sales receipts, including TDS and TCS.
- Sound understanding of the accounting entries relating to stock transfers between the company's branches and warehouses.
- Reconcile settlement reports and ensure timely accounting of receipts from Amazon and Flipkart.




- Identify discrepancies in settlements, deductions, or transaction data and coordinate with internal teams or marketplace support for resolution.
- Maintain proper accounting of inventory movements, including sales returns, replacement and recall transactions.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve transaction and inventory-related issues.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation statements and MIS relating to sales, collections, deductions, and outstanding issues.
- Ensure proper maintenance of supporting reports and documentation for audit and statutory compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

- Ideally the candidate should have worked in the Accounts & Finance Team of any leading E Commerce organization and reside in Western Suburbs of Mumbai.
- Well-versed with taxation, logistics & other related aspects of ecommerce business
- Possess Business-oriented mindset
- Mature & focused
