About The Role The Accounting & Finance Specialist supports day-to-day accounting operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, employee expense processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.

This role works closely with Finance, Payroll, HR, Recruiting, and Operations to ensure transactions are properly documented, approved, recorded, reconciled, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable activities and vendor invoice processing
- Maintain vendor records and payment documentation
- Support collections, receivables tracking, and staffing-related billing
- Validate timesheets, billing rates, invoices, and supporting records
- Process employee reimbursement documentation
- Perform bank, vendor, payroll-control, and balance-sheet reconciliations
- Support journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and ledger maintenance
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Support GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and audit preparation
- Prepare financial and accounting reports
- Maintain SOPs, close calendars, checklists, and retention records
- Support process improvement and control enhancement initiatives

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,



Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of accounting, finance operations, or related experience
- Experience with AP, vendor invoices, expenses, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end support
- Experience using an accounting system
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Ability to maintain audit-ready documentation

Preferred Qualifications
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent accounting qualification
- Staffing, consulting, IT services, or skilled-services experience
- Experience with timesheet-based billing and contractor invoicing
- Experience supporting intercompany or India-US operations

Required Experience 5+ years of accounting, finance operations, or closely related experience
