Role Description This is a on-site Accountant – Sage Intacct role, based in Panchkula. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations within the Sage Intacct environment, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities include processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and global clients to resolve discrepancies, providing timely financial data, and assisting with audits and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience on Sage Intacct





Strong hands-on experience with Sage Intacct accounting software, including general ledger and reporting modules.

Proficiency in core accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules with attention to detail.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and basic tax and compliance requirements.

Comfort working with spreadsheets and productivity tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Office, or equivalent) for data analysis and reporting.

Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and global clients, with a team-oriented and professional approach.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in an on-site setting.

Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.

Prior experience in a similar accounting role, especially in service-oriented or global support environments, is preferred.
