A. Overview a. We are OGCOWA – OMR Garden City Owners Welfare Association - a gated community and the work location situated in Semmencherry on the OMR.

b. We have over 625 members who own flats in our community, which consists of 8 Towers, with 20 storeys each.

c. We are in the process of starting a major repair and renovation project, which requires us to strength our accounting function.

d. The ideal candidate will have a head for numbers, experience with Tally and MS Excel, and valuable analytical skills.

e. The selected candidate will need to work proactively and independently.

B. Responsibilities and Duties a. Assist with the preparation of financial statements b. Analyse and reconcile bank statements and ledgers of members’ payments.

c. Post journal entries for expenses and receipts d.



Act as a liaison for members wanting to know their balances, and reconcile any discrepancies.

C. Qualifications and Skills a. Bachelor’s Degree, B.Com. preferred.

b. 5 years experience preferred.

c. Good verbal and written communication d. Knowledge of Tally, and MS Office (especially MS Excel)

D. Compensation a. Will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
