Role Description The Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Kanpur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and supporting financial reporting. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and assisting in audits as needed.



The Accountant will work closely with management to provide accurate financial data that supports budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.

Qualifications Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, journal entries, and general ledger management.

Experience with bank reconciliation, invoicing, and management of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Ability to prepare financial statements, support month-end and year-end closing, and assist in audits.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of spreadsheets and basic financial formulas.

Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.

Ability to work on-site in Kanpur, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks within deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.

Familiarity with local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic financial controls is beneficial.
