- Maintain books of accounts (cash book, ledger, journal).
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage fee collection records and reconcile student fee accounts.
- Handle salary processing for teaching and non-teaching staff.
Banking & Payments
- Manage bank accounts and online transactions.
- Prepare and process cheques, NEFT/RTGS payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly.
- Coordinate with banks for account-related matters.
Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory deductions.
- Prepare and file returns within due dates.
- Maintain compliance records and documentation.
Audit & Reporting
- Assist internal and external auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries.
- Maintain vouchers, bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper record-keeping as per rules and regulations.
Budget & Administration
- Assist in preparing annual budgets.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
- Support management with financial reports and analysis.
- Coordinate with departments for financial requirements.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com (preferred)
- Professional qualification (CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / MBA Finance – desirable)
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Experience in educational institutions preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
- Proficiency in Tally / accounting software
- Good command of MS Excel and basic computer applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential financial data
- Positive communication and coordination skills
Salary Minimum - 23,000 to 25,000 Per month
