Role Description The Accountant role at Global Fashions is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyserabad. The accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role involves processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flows, and supporting internal and external audits. The accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, improve reporting accuracy, and support decision-making for business operations.

Qualifications

Robust knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and ledger management.

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.





Proficiency with accounting software as well as MS Excel and other office tools.

Understanding of taxation, compliance, and statutory regulations relevant to the Greater Hyderabad Area and India.

Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide clear, actionable insights.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Prior experience in retail, fashion, or consumer goods industries is beneficial but not required.
