Role Description The Accountant role at Green Ride EV Rental LLP is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording income and expenses, preparing vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. The role involves preparing invoices, supporting payroll processing, tracking accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities.

The Accountant will help ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation rules, and regulatory requirements, and support management with accurate financial reports and basic cost analysis. The position also requires close coordination with operations teams to track vehicle rentals, related costs, and revenue,



and to maintain organized financial documentation.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger maintenance, journal entry posting, and reconciliation of accounts.

Candidates should possess proficiency in financial reporting and compliance tasks, such as preparing basic financial statements, supporting audits, and understanding taxation and regulatory requirements.

Candidates should possess experience with accounting software and productivity tools, including familiarity with Tally or similar systems, and effective use of spreadsheets and MS Office applications.

Candidates should possess analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide clear insights to management.

Candidates should possess strong organizational and documentation skills, including accurate record-keeping, file management, and attention to detail.

Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with operations, management, and external partners.

Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an added advantage.

Prior experience in a startup, rental, logistics, or mobility services environment will be beneficial, along with an interest in sustainable and electric vehicle-focused businesses.
