At Fishmongers, we're building one of India's most tech based integrated aquaculture and seafood businesses, driven by operational excellence, financial discipline, and sustainable growth. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Accountant – Aquaculture to join our growing team.
If you have a strong background in operational accounting, inventory management, cost accounting, and financial controls, and have worked in industries such as Aquaculture, Fisheries, Agriculture, Food Processing, Seafood Trading, Feed, FMCG or Contract Farming, we'd love to hear from you.

Position: Accountant
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 2–3 Years
Reporting To: Manager/BU Head
What You'll Do
✔ Manage financial and operational accounting for aquaculture farms and seafood operations.
✔ Monitor inventory, stock reconciliations, and operational cost tracking.
✔ Analyse profitability across farms, products, harvest cycles, and business units.
✔ Handle accounts payable, receivable, vendor reconciliations,
and collections.
✔ Prepare MIS reports, budgeting support, and management insights.
✔ Ensure compliance with GST, accounting standards, audits, and internal controls.
We're Looking For
✅ B.Com / Finance / Accounting graduate
✅ 2–3 years of relevant experience in operational or cost accounting.
✅ Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, Zoho, or similar).
✅ Advanced MS Excel skills with expertise in MIS reporting and inventory accounting.
✅ Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
