Role Description The Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based in Tirupati, responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations at EEYA Metal & Alloys Private Limited. This role includes maintaining accurate books of accounts, posting journal entries, handling accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements and ledgers. The Accountant will prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns as applicable, assist with monthly and annual financial closing, and support the preparation of financial reports and management summaries.

The role also involves monitoring inventory-related accounting,



coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and supporting process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, journal entry posting, and bank reconciliation.

Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, such as preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and management reports.

Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and compliance, including GST, TDS, and other relevant statutory requirements.

Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data.

Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and time management skills.

Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with operations, procurement, and external auditors.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (such as CA Inter, CMA Inter) will be an added advantage.

Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, familiarity with inventory accounting, and knowledge of Indian accounting standards will be beneficial.
