Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar I. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and generating periodic financial reports for management.



The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and institutional policies, supporting audits, and coordinating with internal departments to maintain accurate and timely financial data. The Accountant is expected to maintain high ethical standards, protect financial confidentiality, and contribute to efficient financial operations within the institution.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.

Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel) for data analysis and reporting.

Ability to perform accurate data entry, bank reconciliations, and documentation of financial transactions.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with finance and academic teams.

Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Prior experience in an educational institution or service-oriented organization is beneficial.
