Role Description This is a full-time Accountant role in a hybrid work model, based in Vadakara with some flexibility for work from home. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and maintenance of ledgers for clients.

Responsibilities include managing GST and income tax records, assisting with tax return preparation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves reconciling bank and vendor accounts, monitoring payables and receivables, and supporting audits and financial reviews.



The Accountant will also collaborate with consultants and clients to clarify financial data and provide accurate, timely information.

Qualifications

Strong accounting fundamentals, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.

Knowledge of GST and income tax rules, compliance procedures, and experience with tax return preparation.

Proficiency with accounting and tax software, spreadsheets, and basic office productivity tools.

Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to analyze and reconcile financial data.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setup, managing time and workload to meet deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications in taxation or accounting are an advantage.

Prior experience in an accounting or tax consulting environment, particularly with GST and income tax, is preferred.
